The Resident came in to check on us (Dr M is on rounds, so she will be in shortly, I'm sure). The HB monitoring is from now on going to be 1 hour every 8 hours (plus the 1 hour contraction monitoring).
Peter has scanned in ultrasound pictures for your viewing pleasure from July 23-Aug 12. Click here to go to the picture blog (there are just so many.) I will only post 2, from the most recent scan.
I've started my new journal (the baby journal I had ran out of pages yesterday, so the third trimester will actually begin journal#2, kind of funny how it works out that way). So far, things are really well today (I mean, it is only 8:15am, but still...) We are about to have breakfast and enjoy the day together.
To Anonymous in Mass: thank you for the sweet card; it really made my day yesterday, as I was struggling with my emotions.
Well, breakfast is here!
HOORAY for 24 weeks!! I am glad your steroid injections weren't too bad. I have heard the PIO shots are unpleasant ... not looking forward to those.
I love your captions on the US pictures by the way. =) Cheering you on through your next two weeks (and beyond)!
Happy third trimester! I'm happy the shots weren't painful for you. Let's get this next countdown going!
My eyes whelm with tears of happiness for you Michele. I know how much of a relief it is to reach 24 weeks, I remember the feeling well.
What kind of journals do you use? I love to know how other people remember their babies! I know you have journals for all the babies, do you just write in them or do you include other things in them too?
CONGRATULATIONS...a day well deserved!!!You did it:)Hugs,

IT IS HERE!!!!! YOU MADE IT! I am so, so proud of you and the babies- what good resting you've done over the last weeks.
Hoping the next four weeks fly by, and the next four after that!
Big hugs (and a happy 24 week dance!),
That's so funny. Before I even read your first two words, I thought 'woo hoo!" Woo hoo, indeed. :)
Welcome to the third trimester. Hoping and praying your Maya and Bobby continue to grow and thrive inside you.
So thrilled for you Michele. Woohoo!
Yeah for 24 weeks! You are amazing!
Hi Michele, I'm a Michelle also (plus an extra L) and i stumbled across your blog while i was doing some research for my little boy. he's 3 months old and I've barely had any good sleep at all since his arrival. The sleep deprivation robs me of strength and i sometimes forget why I had Hayden in the first place. I cried buckets over your beautifully written birth stories and am now reading through your other entries. I'm praying for you, congrats on reaching 3rd trimester. Good luck super woman.
I'm so glad!!
I was away this weekend, but happy 24 weeks!
