Two weeks into my longest pregnancy ever!  And today, am I hyped up or what!

I met with our pastor this morning to schedule Michael's Christening.  I know...  the poor kid isn't even born yet and here we are scheduling his outings.

Mark your calendars folks!
I'm excited about this for a variety of reasons.  First, we were looking this far in advance so that (fingers crossed) my family can come up for the celebration!  Second, it's the Feast of the Archangels and I can think of no better day for little Michael to receive this first Sacrament than on the Feast of his Patron, St. Michael the Archangel.  And, third, this was Peter's Yaya's birthday; Dimitri was her father and was whom Robert was named for and, now, Michael will carry that name as well.  As someone who loves when things all add up, having 9/29 as his baptismal date is such a happy thing for me!

And, in more happy news, tomorrow is my 30 week appointment!  2 more days and we are in the thirties!!!!  I'm also hoping to discuss the possibility of changing my C-section date to 7/17 instead of 7/10 with Dr. Bailey.  I know a lot is going to depend on how things look tomorrow.  If my uterus looks like it is thinning or the amniotic fluid looks lower than average, I'll be seeing MFM at 32 weeks and I'm sure we wont discuss any possible pushing back of the delivery until my 33 week appointment in early June.  But, a girl can hope!  I'd love to have Michael safely in utero until 39 weeks but, if that isn't to be, then so be it.

Today, though, nothing can rain on my parade!  I am so excited to have his christening date set and to have this part of our fall planned!
