Other than a baby boy who continues to headbutt my cervix and give me some interesting "pains", it's been a good day. No contractions, good HB checks, and healthy movement. My nurse this morning discussed the steroid injections with us, since it is the hospital's policy to do them at 24w for bedrest mamas. Dr B had mentioned 25w when we were still on home bedrest, so I'm not sure of the plan. I will talk to Dr M on Monday. (A different doc is on call this weekend, Dr L, who actually was on call when Alex was born... He was so compassionate... He came back after his shift was over to check on us. I couldnt remember where I knew him from this morning until he left and then it all came back...).
Yesterday, a tech came in to do my BP. She noticed our crucifix over the bed and asked if we were Catholic. When I said yes, she began to explain that she had gone to Lourdes in May and June and that she had brought some of the water back with her. She whips this bottle from her pocket. She offered to pray over me and she poured some of the water on my forehead and hands (common areas for blessings) and then my belly. She was very sweet. She even came back later in the day to meet Peter. Very kind.
Tomorrow we are celebrating Peter's birthday. He will be 31 on Wednesday, but folks are coming to the hospital tomorrow. I'm glad. I really would like a little bit of normalcy for him. He works so hard to keep things going. I love him so much. I'll be sure to get a picture tomorrow. :)
Well, I am wiped out, even though it is still light out. I've had 3 naps today and am ready for bed already. As Peter's aunt says, I'd better take advantage of my sleep now...

Baby A has been recently punching/head butting my cervix too! Last night, I would jump every time he did it... and I was thinking, "Go a little higher, Sweetie! That cervix needs to hang on for another 10 weeks!"

I am praying for you and your family. My husband and I are expecting twin girls; I am 22 weeks, 2 days pregnant and have been put on bedrest after having contractions every 2-3 minutes. Reading your blog gives me some hope that we are going to make it right along with you.

I am glad that you, the babies, and peter are doing well. That is awesome about the tech praying over you- I am SO glad to see healthcare workers to include faith in their care (I am a nurse too) Taking care of someone is not just ministering to their medical needs, but emotional and spiritual too.
