Making It Real

The other day, a package arrived for me and, contained within, were these tiny little cards that, all of a sudden, made my dream real...  I still cant believe I have these in my hand and that I have really found something to channel myself into... to make beauty from the pain...  to make hope from what was hopeless... to give life where there was only death before.

There is still so much to do and business cards wont change that, but the fact that they are here gives me the knowledge that, one day, I'll be able to help parents who are going through the worst- and hopefully, one day, see them through the beauty after the storm.

Your business cards look beautiful. They, more importantly, carry a lot of hope for people who need it.

Michele, this is all so beautiful. I am really happy for you. Just like me with my handkerchiefs, my biggest wish is never to have to send another one out because that would mean all babies are born healthy and alive. In reality that is not true and it brings me pleasure to help, even with the gesture of a handkerchief. You are going to be loved and appreciated by all who come into contact with you. ((HUGS))

I said it before, but I love this whole idea. I am excited for you and this venture. You are filling in a void. After my last loss my OB was just technical/medical about it, and after speaking with my homebirth midwife, she was unprepared on how to handle it. You are the perfect combination of having all the factual knowledge and the "having been there before" compassion. I would have felt much better had someone like you been there to help.
And, your logo on the card is perfect-beautiful and inviting.

Those are lovely cards Michelle.

Do you know, I almost wish you failure... but only because I wish with all my heart that no more women had to suffer this awful loss.

Sadly they will and I'm so glad that some of them will have your loving support.

Ah, I feel so proud of you, as corny as this sounds, but I'm just so awed that you'd offer doula services to women in such difficult circumstances, considering all you've been through; but because you've been through so much - and because you're amazing anyway - you're going to be great!
