Working

To the woman who told me that I'm so lucky to be a stay at home mother because SHE has to work everyday AND be a mom. Really? I dont work during the day? My job has no sick time and is 24/7. Whether we stay at home, work outside jobs from home, or work jobs outside the home, we are all working in some capacity. Really??? WTF!

Dont worry... this one has a post peculating... I'm just pissed right now.  (and the kitchen needs cleaning up from lunch...)

I've been at home with a sick 2 year old for 2 weeks now. I'm looking forward to going back to work when he is better. Hopefully tomorrow.
Being a stay at home mom is for some, but not for me though.
And I will say, I was never so tired as I was when I was on maternity leave. I think working is much easier (if you will) than working as a stay at home mom.
I love my child to pieces, but I also enjoy going to "work" as well.
Kudos to you for not throat punching that idiot.

I love cleaning when i get pissed. :) I always bang things around and the kids love the music. I had a friend say the same thing. When i was REALLY sick a week ago. 2 days of trying to care for 2 kids and myself while also being pregnant. It was hell on earth. I was so out of it. But when I posted on Facebook what I wouldn't do for a sick day she replied I could be sick whenever I want because it's so easy. I want to beat people that think I do nothing all day. Just know that by doing nothing all day you are being the best thing every for your kids. :)

I would be steaming too. I can't believe she said that. I was a stay at home mom with my children, then I was divorced and I had to work. It wasn't easy but being at home all day is a lot harder when you are raising young children. Later I became a stay at home mom again and it's hard work.I missed that break of going to work and dealing with adult conversation.

This is just an ignorant thing to say. I am so sorry.
