First Snowfall

Today was the first snowfall of the winter... It was Bobby and Maya's first snowfall ever. It snowed when Nicholas, Sophia, and Alexander were born; it seems only fitting that it snowed today, on Bobby and Maya's due date. Part of me knew this would happen. Part of me hoped it wouldnt just be "flurries" and that we'd get a good ground covering. We did.

The twins loved to look at the snow falling outside the window. We went to Mass and it was beautiful. Our church is really breathtaking in the snow. When we got home, we sat in our library, which is where we put the Christmas tree, and the kids looked at the tree and then out the window and then back to the tree. It's so cute to see their eyes when they see things for the first time.

It's lovely. I wish, so much, that we lived where it snowed. People here thinks it's cold now, and it's only just barely dipping into the 50's...sighs.

That's so wonderful that the kids all have the snow in common. I love that the twins were just enthralled with it!
