EDD

While I never thought I would see this day pregnant, today was our 40 week estimated due date. Amazingly, the babies are 11 weeks and 2 days old.

I've never put much stock in due dates, since they are just estimations. Today will pass, pretty much, like every other day. But, still, it gives me pause to think that they were due today, when I look at them on the outside.

I have always felt close to the Virgin Mary, but in recent days, I have felt even more close to her. The combination of sorrow and joy... I assume she must have felt something along these lines. Sorrow at losing her Son. Joy at the world's redemption...

As I sit here an hour into our expected due date, I am waxing philosophical...

I remember when I was telling your story to my family & friends that your due date was early December.
I am so thankful that you have them and they are perfect.

I know what you mean about the EDD. I knew it was never really going to mean anything most likely, but it's still a symbolic day. I am so glad that the babies are doing so well. :)
