Today, the kids had peanut butter and crackers for the first time! Quite the hit.
The recommendation is 3 years for children with allergy histories and 12 months for other children. At 16 months, the kids are well beyond the 12 months, but I think I'll still keep an eye on them... just in case!

Yay!!! I remember I was a basketcase the first time I gave AJ peanut butter (even though there are no pb allergies in our history at all). Thank goodness he wasn't allergic, because if it weren't for PB here lately, he would not be getting his protein quota for the day! The kid loves him some PB&J sandwiches!
My doctor said 2 years for those without allergies. hmmmmm.
The boys LOVE celery and peanut butter. and so do i. :) also toast and peanut butter, pancakes and peanut butter, and of course pb&j. :) Anything with peanut butter is a huge hit here. :)
Hope they don't show any allergies.
PB is awesome! Glad they liked it.
Oooh I'm gearing up for that too! We were told 18 months, so since Colby's 18 months tomorrow we'll try soon. I'm nervous despite there being zero allergies on either size. I'm contemplating bringing a spoon of peanut butter to his 18 month check up next week!
Yeah.. I'm still too chicken at 12 mos! haha.
I am allergic to egg whites, so I think I'm going to have to take it SUPER-slow with Alice! Good luck - keep us updated!
glad they liked their pb! naomi ate another kid's pb crackers sometime shortly after her 1st birthday and was fine, but i haven't given her anymore because her cousin is allergic to pb. instead we get soy-nut butter (which is just soy and honey, no nuts) and it seems to be just as tasty to me.
funny that maya and naomi have the same jammies!! so cute! (sorry they were up early, urgh!)
