Falling Down

Just a quick note, since I'm using the hotel's business station because the wifi is down...  Who knew that, in 2 days, both kids would take spills!  Peter tripped and fell with Bobby on Sunday.  He went down on his thigh, so Bobby hit the floor wrapped in Peter's hands and was fine, just scared.  (Although I think I took a decade off my life span!)  Then, last night, I was holding Maya and she (lightly, but enough to leave a red mark for the evening) smacked her head against the glass dining room table!  No good marks for parenting for us!

But, all in all, we are having a great visit!  I'll update more later...

You may recall that I know firsthand how terrifying the falls (with child in arms) are . . . so relieved to hear everyone is okay!

For what it's worth, Peanut has banged her head into my jaw so hard a few times that I swore it cracked my jaw, LOL. They have HARD noggins!

Oh no! Poor Bobby and Maya! I know that feeling of suddenly having a decade taken off your life expectancy! x

it happens to the best of us love how Peter went down on his self and kept Bobby safe that bond/love for your child its just natural instict. He could of broke every bone in his body and he would of landed Bobby safely I think thats a great job. As far as baby Maya I get chills just thinking of coffe tables its the first thing they pull on when they want their independence I've seen tons of spunk knots on babies from those things but I swear they crawl right back to it.. and do it all over again..lol

Glad you're having a good trip. Jason turned the hot water on in the tub when he was really little. Scared me silly. I called 911 and he got checked out by the EMTs. After they left he was trying to climb all over the place and I was terrified he'd fall. I could just imagine what they'd think if I had to call them back a half hour after they'd been here.

Don't beat yourself up over that, I am sure it will not be the first or last time they get bumps or bruises... I know you are a great mother and those kids are lucky to have such amazing parents!
