...I did it. I just parted with some of my (husband's) hard earned paycheck and joined the Y. Classes start the first week of January but I can use the Y for equipment, swimming, etc, until then. Who knows... Maybe I will start off tomorrow with a swim. We'll see.

how wonderful. i love swimming! i have been taking a kettle bell class, if they offer one at your Y i would check it out, really fun!

we earn all our lumps, bumps, sags and scars...no one has the right to belittle any of it....I still have a lot to lose, and it will come in time.

Good for you! Just take your time and try not to let what other people say about baby weight get you down too much. I know it will inevitably hurt, but you have been through so much that you deserve plenty of time to get back into shape. Don't be too hard on yourself!
You can do it. Once you put your mind to it and decide that you are worth being healthy. Find what motivates you.
I love the Y I go to one here that has a steam roon and that is so nice and relaxing when my body is sore.
