Bobby is 14lbs even. Maya is 9lbs 11oz. I was surprised! I thought she'd hit 10lbs. In 4 weeks, Bobby gained 1lb15oz and Maya gained 1lb7oz (average weight gain for 4 weeks is 1lb - 1lb8oz). They both got 2 shots of Synagis and a dose of Prevnar. And the crying... Oh, it breaks my heart. Those tears just work their way to the depths of my soul! Peter had to work, so my MIL went with me. Bobby went first and I held him until he calmed then passed him to her, so that we could do Maya. Maya cried so hard that sound just wouldnt come out and then, once it did, oh how she told me how upset she way! Once the pain wore off, she was just mad! Boy did she let me have it! She just woke up from her post-appt nap, so I'm off to cuddle!

Oh all those jabs are so awful. Ouch! Poor lil ones. I'm sure Maya will be smashing the 10lb barrier soon. x

Poor little things. Give them lots of extra love tonight. (Like that would be hard to do!) So how does their weight fit into the charts?
Are they getting close to their birth age or do you go by a different chart?
Hopefully Maya has forgotten all about it and is ready to cuddle now! :)

I can only imagine how hard it must be to watch your babies cry as they get shots. Poor things. : ( I hope they are feeling better tonight.
Poor babies. Shots are definitely harder on us though. Keep growing Bobby and Maya!
thank you for your support this week, michele. your new pics of bobby and maya are wonderful. bobby is almost as big as naomi ;) i hope their baptism goes well this weekend and that everything happens as you want it to.
Great appointment! Not quite 10 lbs, but almost. (It's hard for me to imagine, my son was born at 9 lbs 14 oz. It certainly won't be that way with our twins! And in a way, I'm kinda glad... yikes...)
The shots are so hard. :( But a little cuddling from mama always does the trick!

i am sure all the cuddles made up for any sticks. i am sure it is so hard to see them cry though... hugs.

Little man gets his first set of shots on Tuesday. I am not looking forward to it!
