He's on Zantac twice a day and the next step is the rice cereal if its not better when he goes to his ped. the first week of February. From what I understand from my ped, that this is par for the course for a preemie. I'm sure its more traumatizing for us than it is for them...

Hoping that Maya's reflux gets better soon! And, Cooper's for that matter!Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02695243793883254621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1809677799536184324.post-32137804457856383742010-01-12T23:50:31.377-05:002010-01-12T23:50:31.377-05:00That must be hard after what happened last time. ...That must be hard after what happened last time. AJ had to be on an acid reducer for almost a year (he was 11 weeks early). We started out with liquid zantac--it smelled and tasted awful and it didn't help him at all. Prevacid was the answer for us! That, along with the thickened bottles, kept his reflux under control and burp ups down to hardly never.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1809677799536184324.post-28502459311607363522010-01-12T22:12:43.731-05:002010-01-12T22:12:43.731-05:00I'm sorry, Michele ... that must be such a sca...I'm sorry, Michele ... that must be such a scary feeling even if you know she's okay.
