It doesn't look difficult to make at all.

When J started getting halfway out of his crib at 15 months, our Pedi suggested putting a mattress on the floor, while ensuring everything was safe (and bookcase bolted to the wall), even placing a gate around the mattress as needed. He ended up stopping the climbing until last week, so we're still using a crib, but I've been thinking of just getting a twin instead of changing the crib into the toddler bed. Not sure what we'll do yet.MrsSpockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10792687516201324640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1809677799536184324.post-52719237605641725662010-05-05T12:58:31.016-04:002010-05-05T12:58:31.016-04:00that's a really good pic of you & Maya. I totally understand why you would put the kids in twin beds. Cribs are so darn expensive, and they are so temporary. I'm sure your babies love the arrangement you have for them, and gosh, they are cute. :)Leahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14912857890584533572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1809677799536184324.post-10557505391477711512010-05-01T22:14:31.779-04:002010-05-01T22:14:31.779-04:00i think bobby and maya will learn to adapt to the ...i think bobby and maya will learn to adapt to the situation they are presented with. they will have been sleeping in their beds for months by the time they can walk and climb. yes, they will climb out of their beds, and they will probably fall sometimes too, but i think they will surprise you and everyone with how adaptable they are.

i do wonder what my own little climber would have done, had she been accustomed to such an arrangement from the get-go, but i'll never know! i like having the crib, though. buying a big-kid bed would have been too much (emotionally) for me. i still can't let myself get too far ahead...Rebahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16739267142330427759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1809677799536184324.post-52270782707580698632010-05-01T18:22:18.428-04:002010-05-01T18:22:18.428-04:00Those two photos just made me cry.
